About Falcon Windows
The Falcon Group was established in 1984 in Ipswich, Suffolk. Our initial market was the manufacturing of high quality, specialist, double-glazed, sealed units. In 1987 we ventured into Windows and Doors.
The demand for high quality pvc-u products produced a vehicle for our expansion programme. Our professional approach and quality installations, combined with our highly motivated team's have earned Falcon a reputation for the highest of installation standards.
Falcon Windows Ltd. has now developed into a group of businesses that professionally service the home improvement market, such as replacement glass, windows and doors, conservatories, supplied or installed, the delivery of polycarbonate sheeting, glazing bars and accessories, and we also have a double glazing maintenance side as well. We also have a fascia and Soffit division where we supply and install fascia, soffits, barge boards, cladding and guttering.
Highest Standards
It has always been the view of Falcon Windows that the installation is only as good as the team that produces it, from initial sales, surveying and processing to final installation.
All installers have been personally selected by the Managing Director of Falcon Windows Ltd. They immediately start an internal training programme that gives them the specialist skills and knowledge required not only to carry out a first class installation but also cover all areas of customer service and satisfaction.
Our teams are not employed on a quantity performance basis. We create no incentive for our installers to rush any installations, so quality finishing is always attained.
The installation is always finished by a detailed inspection by the senior fitter who will only be satisfied with the highest level of workmanship.
After Sales
Many companies make the fatal mistake of assuming that once the installation is complete the responsibility to the customer has ended.
At Falcon Windows Ltd this could not be further from the truth. We acknowledge and value the power of recommendation from our existing customers. As a satisfied customer we hope that you will be recommending our services to your family and friends. If we were to drop our standards regarding our after sales department we realise that the support of our customers would be lost.
This is the reason we have implemented a fully structured system to deal with after care calls:
- All calls are logged
- Full details of the situation are taken
- Any further information needed will be taken from our existing customer files
- Service call documentation will be handed to the After Sales Technician
- After the service call has been completed a full report will be written for future referral Signature of customer satisfaction completes the call

We recognise that our activities must acknowledge our responsibilities for the well-being and stability of the environment. We aim to support green issues by promoting energy efficient products and recycling as much as possible to reduce waste.
Next generation Double Glazing
Home is important. So is saving energy and keeping your bills down. And it all starts with choosing the most energy efficient home improvement products. Almost half of all the UK's carbon dioxide emissions come from our buildings and homes. Windows play a huge role in this. According to the Energy Saving Trust, more than 20% of the heat lost from an average home occurs through the windows. The heat lost contributes half a tonne of CO2 per home to the atmosphere and increases fuel bills.

Window Energy Ratings
We all know washing machines and freezers are energy rated, but did you know windows are too? They are energy rated by the British Fenestration Ratings Council on a scale of A-G. Windows achieving a rating of C and above are endorsed by the Energy Saving Trust's Energy Saving Recommended (ESR) scheme and carry the EST's swing tag logo.

Super Spacer Warm Technology
Standard windows use a highly conductive metal spacer bar to hold the two panes of glass apart, which sucks heat from inside to the outside. Super Spacer introduces no-metal warm edge technology to windows, helping to deliver windows of the highest and most energy efficient standards. Windows using Super Spacer achieve the highest Window Energy Ratings.
Super Spacer is 950 times less conductive than traditional aluminium spacers and, as most of the heat loss through a window occurs at the edge of the unit, standard metal spacer bars act as a thermal energy drain allowing heat to escape from your home. Super Spacer blocks the escape route.

History
We have been glaziers in Ipswich and Suffolk since 1984 , I (Eamon Sheppard) set up a small glazing company after being made redundant from a local joiners. I used to manufacture their sealed units and supplied and Installed sealed units to builders and self build properties in Suffolk and North Essex.
We slowly moved into the installation of UPVC frames and UPVC Windows in Hadleigh Westfield Bramford and Capel St Mary, some of the many villages and towns within Suffolk and we soon became known within our area
Nowadays we try to keep local within a 15 mile radius it if at all possible but periodically go beyond this radius.
