Falcon Windows celebrates over 40 years of flying high
Back in 1984, it was Eamon Sheppard’s beady eye for quality products, real installation expertise and dedication to personal service which made his fledgling Ipswich windows, doors and conservatories business take off.
More than forty years on, the Ipswich home improvements company not only continues to flourish, but Falcon Windows has become a household name locally and go-to company for generations. The family business set up by then newly-weds Eamon and Anna Maria all those years ago, remains independent, under original ownership, and passionate about sharing the benefits of quality windows, doors and conservatories installations with homeowners and businesses throughout Ipswich and beyond.
It’s an impressive achievement across four decades of change, including technological advances and new products. PVCu windows were relatively new on the market in the ‘80s and since then manufacturing techniques have led to a whole new and rather complex landscape.
And that’s where Falcon’s forty years of product and installation experience and customer understanding really count. The most robust, thermally efficient or stylish new home improvement is only ever as good as the quality of its installation.

“Definitely the conservatory warm roof,” says Eamon, “It can turn a conservatory into a year-round usable space, without all the expense and planning hassle of an extension. Warm roofs don’t just transform conservatories, they can transform lives.”
Eamon explains: “Conservatories can get too hot in summer and too cold in winter, but the warm roof technology does away with all that. It’s a highly insulated roofing system with lightweight tiles, so it’s solid, not glass, but can have skylights and integrated lighting inside and out.”
